This means the cover weighs 25% less, which puts less strain on the cover lifters and is easier to handle.

Weatherproof covers are also highly resistant to UV radiation, mold and mildew. It is the most commonly used fabric for demanding outdoor applications such as skiing, camping, hunting, awnings, marine and travel equipment.

* Polyester is generally a synthetic fabric that begins as a polymer melt (in liquid form). In solution dyeing, the color is added during the liquid stage before it is cooled and spun into synthetic fibers. Because the dye goes through and through and is not just applied to the surface of the material, the fabric retains its properties better than a piece-dyed fabric when exposed to intense sunlight and air pollutants.
